Realtime Interpreter Support
- Support email: creator.jooo@gmail.com
Do not send OpenAI API keys, Apple transaction secrets, payment credentials, private transcripts, or screenshots that show secrets when requesting support.
Getting Started
- Open Realtime Interpreter.
- Charge Realtime minutes with Apple In-App Purchase.
- Choose Listen or Conversation.
- Confirm the language pair, audio route, and credit usage preview.
- Tap Start.
Credits
Realtime Interpreter uses Apple In-App Purchase consumable credits.
- Listen mode uses about 1 Realtime credit minute per live minute.
- Conversation mode uses about 2 Realtime credit minutes per live minute because it runs two Realtime Translation sessions.
- Purchased credits do not expire.
- If your balance is too low, Start is blocked until you charge more credits.
- If credits run out during a session, the session stops automatically.
- The app keeps an anonymous credit account identifier in the iOS Keychain. After restoring a device backup or moving to a new device, open the app online and refresh the balance. Contact support if a purchased balance does not appear.
Purchases
If a purchase succeeds in the App Store sheet but credits do not appear:
- Pull to refresh or tap the refresh button in the credit balance panel.
- Confirm the device is online.
- Wait a few minutes for App Store transaction processing.
- Open Settings and include the short Support code with the approximate purchase time and product name. Do not send full transaction JWS data, raw UUIDs, or payment credentials.
Audio and Bluetooth
Settings and the Bluetooth wizard include local route checks. Local mic diagnostics stay on device and are not sent to OpenAI.
Bluetooth shared-earbud mode is best effort. iOS and accessory manufacturers do not guarantee exact left/right microphone routing for third-party apps.
Privacy
Live audio is sent to OpenAI only during active translation sessions. Captions are temporary by default. The app stops live sessions when it moves to the background.
Troubleshooting
- If Start is disabled, check credit balance, network, language pair, and audio route.
- If Realtime connection fails, check network and try again.
- If credits do not refresh, the commercial backend may be temporarily unavailable.
- If microphone permission is denied, open iOS Settings > Realtime Interpreter > Microphone.
